Sharbara Traders is one of the largest distributors of pets products in the Western Cape. Based in Bloubergrand, Cape Town, South Africa, we supply top-of-the-range grooming, training and behavioural products to vets, grooming parlours, pet shops and garden centres.

Sharbara Traders was started by two enterprising ladies, Sharlene Sutherland and Barbara Preece. A love of animals, especially Dobermanns, and the need to survive got us going selling dog food more than eight years ago, and from there we have developed into the sourcing, marketing and distributing of a wide variety of internationally branded products. We have a proven track record for excellent service, top class quality products and the ability to market the most unusual and innovative of products. We are regularly requested to distribute new products or ranges for manufactures both local and international. We are the Western Cape Agents for an importer of top-of-the-range pet accessories and pet toys, as well as being the Western Cape agent for top pet restraint manufacturers ROGZ.

We travel overseas annually to the Pet Expos to keep abreast of the latest trends in the Pet Industry worldwide. We like to update our knowledge of what is happening internationally so we can bring in new products and ideas or get them manufactured locally.
